To reveal myself,
Into a world lacking understanding,
It's something I wish I wouldn't do,
Even when I feel like something is missing.
To learn about myself,
To find out all about my imperfections,
Is something that's out of habit,
Just like seeing the cracks in my reflection.
I write my self onto paper,
To show the world I am truly real,
When I'm not even sure who I am,
I take the plunge and hope by the end I can feel.
I'm skating far far away,
Just to fall through the ice of a new day,
I'm alone in the crowd,
While all my life is on the stage,
What is there really to say?
About a man who sees a stranger
In the mirror...

And the blind and lusty lovers
of the great eternal lie
go on believing nothing
since something has to die.
